Unlock the potential of partnerships by assessing your company's capacity for collaboration....
Our First Week & The Questions it Raised
A letter from our Founder & CEO, Jamie Mueller:
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported the launch of CollabUnity last week. It can be daunting to share something new so publicly, but you all made it a lot less scary.
The likes and comments on LinkedIn were certainly nice; however, something I didn't expect happened that ended up providing me with a very valuable idea to mull over. As I conversed with folks curious to learn more about CollabUnity, the same theme kept popping up. Wanting help to find the RIGHT partners.
This can be the most challenging part of the process and it's not as simple as just selecting companies you would like to work with. For example, partnering with big names such as Hubspot, Salesforce, Amazon, the Gates Foundation, or Feeding America may be tempting. However, they may not be the right fit for your business or organization. So, who is the right fit? How do you know? Funnily enough, many people start off in the wrong place. They look out into the ecosystem for those that have accounts that they want, a big brand name, or seem to have the right integration or service to match with their own.
I'd argue that the first step you should take is to look inward and make sure your company knows what it wants from partners and what it is willing to do to recruit, engage, enable, onboard, and support those types of partners. Our Partnership Readiness Assessment can help you assess your internal readiness to find partners or build stronger, more united partnerships.
Once you better understand where you are on the partnering spectrum, your requirements, and what you bring to the table, the next step is to create your Ideal Partner Profiles (IPP). Just like customers require an Ideal Customer Profile, it is beneficial for your company to identify the ideal partner for your organization. Our services can help you develop your IPP through a working session and market research, so your team can find the best partners to fit your needs.
The question is, what comes next?
Would you like a marketplace where you can match your partner profile up with others? Would you like us to share your IPP on LinkedIn with our partnership community? Take our poll and comment with your thoughts. What would help you accelerate progress toward partnership with others?
